Position: Recovery Support Officer (OG-III / OG-II) Reporting To: Unit Head – Retail and Program Lending Division Location: Sukkur and Faisalabad Employment Type: Contractual, 3 years (renewable at Management’s discretion)
Educational / Professional Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC Pakistan
- Candidates with an LLB degree and/or other relevant certification preferred
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of banking and/or judicial experience in recovery-related litigation in a commercial bank
Skills & Expertise Required
- Awareness of the legal and regulatory environment
- Goal-oriented, result-driven with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Well conversant with MS Office
Key Responsibilities
- Review cases recommended for recovery suit by the collection and recovery team
- Coordinate with BLA, branches, regions, and collection team for follow-up on suit-filed cases
- Review ongoing cases and advise Unit Head Legal Coordination accordingly
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with external lawyers
- Review plaints shared by dealing counsel before filing and provide administrative support
- Obtain regular case updates from dealing counsel
- Attend court hearings regularly and report outcomes to Unit Head Legal Coordination
- Coordinate with Unit Head Collections and BLAs for out-of-court settlements
- Prepare and maintain MIS of all suit-filed and to-be-filed cases on a daily/weekly basis
- Perform any other assignment as directed by supervisor(s)
